Mont. Code Ann. § 40-5-313

Obligor rights protected – penalties

(1) An employer may not discharge, discipline, or refuse to hire a person because:

(a) the person has a child support obligation;

(b) a withholding order has been issued for the person's income; or

(c) proceedings have been initiated under this part.

(2) An employer who violates the provisions of this section may be fined not more than $100.
