Penalty for violation

Unless otherwise provided by this part or part 2, a person who violates this part or part 2 or any rule adopted pursuant to this part or part 2 is guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine of not more than $500 or imprisonment in a county jail for not more than 6 months or both.
